    A Straws can be sanitized in a dishwasher. It all depends on how often the switch is used. The straw should be cleaned daily and changed out when the straw shows signs of wear.

    A We are not sure as that product you are asking about is not made or sold by Enabling Devices. We use a standardized dental straw. You should ask this question of the manufacture or reseller of the product.

    A Please contact our customer support at 1-800-832-8697. We have never had any issues with the straws making this device for 20 + years. The straws we use are medical grade, the same ones a dentist uses in your mouth so they have to be safe to use. Unless the client is not supervised and is chewing on the end of the straw. Then any straw could be an issue.
