Communicators
We have a wide selection of communicators for many sensory abilities and levels of vision. Individuals can use a communicator to express themselves, communicate their thoughts, ask for help and more. Our communicators for VI include:

Switches
Our adaptive switches for visual impairment activate toys, computers and other devices. The switches are designed for various sensory and motor abilities, with options like:
- Bright Red Switch: The Bright Red Switch has a large target area, lights and vibrations to increase visual perception.
- Bright Switch for the Visually Impaired: The Bright Switch for the Visually Impaired has a blinking light to make it easy for individuals with visual impairment to locate.
- LED Plate Switch for the VI: The LED Plate Switch for VI holds an icon and uses lights to indicate when the plate is pressed.
Adapted Toys
Adapted toys from Enabling Devices allow kids with visual impairment to play and have fun with toys that are suited to their abilities. These toys have visual, audio and tactile cues for engagement. One of our adapted toys for VI is a Musical Light Box activated by a capability switch. The bright backlight helps those with visual impairment locate the box and encourages visual attention.
