    A No it is not, but you could try wrapping one layer of clear saran wrap around the white inert before placing it in the wrist shell.
    2. What is the size of the button to be pressed and how much effort is required to depress it? I am trying to figure out whether my child would be able to depress the button? He tends to use his index and middle fingers together

    A Approximately 1 inch in diameter. It is a very light touch activation.
    3. I just received 2 3037B Wrist Talker Black, the directions do not match was I recieved. It does not look like the one in the picture. There are no holes for output sound. It said to remove foam covering there is no foam covering. To record it says to twist the cover until the opening lines up with the "gray rubber record button (see illustration)" There is no "gray button" nor are there any illustrations with the instructions sent to me or on line. I'll need some one's help today if not I want to return both of them.

    A Sorry for the issue, the item was recently updated. We will update the website instructions. To Record: 1. Rotating The top clockwise exposes the the letter R, (Record). 2. Press and hold the button to record. 3. Hold the device 4 inches away from your mouth and speak clearly. Release the button when finished to stop recording. 4. Rotate the top of the device to the letter P, (Play) and press the outer button to play your message. O: Off P: Play R: Record. Please call our tech support if you need additional help at 1-800-832-8697.

    A The volume is not adjustable. It will be good for a quite room, but in a room with a lot of noise it will be to low.
