A First try changing out the batteries with a new set of alkaline type batteries such as Duracell, Energizer or Rayovac. Do not use any Heavy Duty, Super Duty or rechargeable type batteries. Weak or improper batteries can cause this issue. If changing out the batteries does not resolve the issue you can try moving the train's wheels while activating your switch, sometimes the wheels turning leakage can get jammed if the train is pushed on while in use.
  2. What type of switch do I need? Is the train wired or wireless from the switch
