Our switch activated remote module makes TV viewing easy and convenient even for users with impaired fine motor coordination. Just plug switch or switches into the moduleā€™s jacks to control power, volume and channel up and down.

Just plug a switch or switches into the jacks, and the buttons on the remote will be activated. For example, if your TV remote has a switch plugged into the channel up jack, then every time you press the external capability switch, the channel will increase by one. Perfect for viewers with impaired fine motor coordination.

Note: Cannot be used with TV/VCR or TV/DVD combination unit. Remote style may vary.Ā This remote cannot be used withĀ any Latch Timer Switch including our Jumbo Switch with Latch Timer or On/Off Jumbo Switch.     A The batteries will last the same about of time normal TV remote batteries last based on usage. Please make sure to use a good quality alkaline type batteries such as Duracell, Energizer, Rayovac for longest life.

    A It will work with most Cable TV boxes, you can check the list under the Product Guide tab on the product page and look at the Sony guide for a list of Cable Boxes.

    A This item does not come with switches, you must supply your own switches. Any of our switches will work with this.

    A Yes it will work with most flat screen TV's. If you look under the product guides tab: Sony TV Remote Setup and Codes it will show the brands supported.

    A The remote inside the device which is not removable is a Sony IR universal remote. A copy of the Sony programming guide along with a list of supported devices can be found under the download tab on the product page. If you need an RF remote there are some work around's give our tech support a call at: 1-800-832-8697 Option #7.
