Autism Society of America
ASA is dedicated to increasing public awareness about autism and the day-to-day issues faced by individuals with autism, their families and the professionals with whom they interact. The Society and its chapters share a common mission of providing information and education, and supporting research and advocating for programs and services for the autism community.
Autism Speaks
Through historic mergers with the Autism Coalition for Research and Education (ACRE), the National Alliance for Autism Research (NAAR), and, most recently, Cure Autism Now (CAN), this organization is now one of the largest foundations dedicated to autism in the world, with more than 130 employees, and walk chapters across the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Their ASD Video Glossary contains over a hundred free video clips. Whether you are a parent, family member, friend, physician, clinician, childcare provider, or educator, it can help you see the subtle differences between typical and delayed development in young children and spot the early red flags for ASD. All of the children featured in the ASD Video Glossary as having red flags for ASD are, in fact, diagnosed with ASD.

Closing The Gap, Inc. is an organization that focuses on computer technology for people with special needs through its bi-monthly newspaper, annual international conference and extensive web site.
National Association of Parents with Children in Special Education (NAPCSE)
NAPCSE is a national membership organization dedicated to rendering support and assistance to parents whose children receive special education services, both in and outside of school. NAPCSE was founded for parents with children with special needs to promote a sense of community and provide a national forum for their ideas.
