Get Multiswitch Activation With One Device

The 4-in-1 Joystick Switch is activated by the user’s hand or finger. The user can move the joystick in any direction to play with a toy, activate a device and more. The joystick switch is ideal for multiswitch inputs, like our exclusive TV Remote Module, so users can access many switch-activated devices.

Add the switch to activate adapted devices, like adaptive game system controllers and remote-control toys, for accessible fun. You can connect up to four cords to switch-activated devices using the jacks on the side of the joystick. Push the joystick in the device’s direction to activate it. There are many useful features of our Joystick Switch, including:

  • Versatility: You can mount the Joystick to bedrails or wheelchairs to keep the switch available for users or keep it portable to use anywhere.
  • Comfort: We’ve designed the 4-in-1 Joystick for ergonomics and a more comfortable user experience. The comfortable handle may encourage them to use it, too.
  • Connectivity: You can activate up to four separate devices with convenient jack hook-ups. Users can activate several devices from one joystick.
  • Ease of use: Each jack corresponds to a clearly labeled Joystick direction to create the ideal setup. The arrows make it clear which direction activates which device.
  • High sensitivity: The Joystick requires 25 to 35 grams of force to operate, making it ideal for those with limited strength.
  • Automatic shut-off: Our Joystick is only active during directional engagement — once that stops, the powered device will also turn off.
  • Easy to clean: You can clean the 4-in-1 Joystick Switch with household multipurpose cleaners or disinfectants. Do not submerge the switch in water.
  • A year-long warranty: We support your purchase and offer peace of mind for 12 months.

People with functional needs (commonly referred to as special needs) can gain many benefits from using a joystick switch. With our 4-in-1 Joystick, users can:

  • Exercise more independence.
  • Increase their self-confidence.
  • Engage with technology more easily.
  • Explore cause and effect.
  • Improve visual tracking.
  • Empower their learning.
  • Learn directionality — left, right, up and down.
  • Learn color identification with bright primary colors.

A It would work for an RC car that had 4 switch input jacks. Currently we do not have any for sale. We do have this stunt car that uses a joystick which might be a good option and is the only car we have with 4 way control. https://enablingdevices.com/product/stunt-car

A As noted in the item description here: Need to activate more than one switch? Our joystick is great for the user who needs to access multiple switch adapted devices or a single device with multiple switch inputs such as our adapted TV remote module (#5150). Can also be used to teach directionality – left, right, up, down. This will not navigate a Smart TV Menu for YouTube. Sorry. We currently do not have anything for that.
